This is the first post on the new SecTek blog. We built this space for one reason: we get asked the same operational questions over and over by prospective clients, current clients, and people in our industry — and written answers are more useful than the same call repeated fifty times.
What you’ll find here
We will publish three kinds of posts:
- Operational guidance — concrete how-tos on running a security program: post orders, shift transitions, alarm response, incident documentation.
- Industry analysis — what’s changing in regulated environments and how it shapes the security programs we deliver.
- Lessons from the field — anonymized stories from the operations center that capture how a small detail (a logged scan, a procedural challenge) made a real difference.
Who writes
Most posts come directly from the SecTek operations team — supervisors, account managers, and the duty managers in our 24/7 center. A few come from leadership when there’s a strategic update worth sharing. Every post is reviewed before it ships.
What this isn’t
We won’t be publishing thinly-disguised sales pitches. If you find one, let us know — we’ll fix it.
Thanks for reading. If there’s a topic you want us to cover, send a note to hello@sectek.com.
